Albert Romo – President
Mr. Romo is the founder and President of Romo Incentives Group. His expertise regularly benefits business leaders in many industries including agriculture, food service, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, publishing, retail and transportation. Under his leadership, RIG identifies millions of dollars in tax savings for client businesses each year.
Mr. Romo is a graduate of California State University at Sacramento where he earned a B.S. in accounting. He has provided tax and accounting services with the California Franchise Tax Board and the accounting firms of KPMG, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (PwC).
Brian Negri, CPA – Director of EZ Tax Credit Services
Mr. Negri has over 15 years of tax and accounting experience and is a licensed CPA. His expertise is focused on federal and state tax credits and incentives including California Enterprise Zones, Federal Empowerment Zones and Renewal Communities and the Work Opportunity Tax Credit.
Mr. Negri is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara where he earned a B.S. in business economics with a concentration in accounting. He spent several years as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service auditing high net worth individuals and companies in the entertainment industry. He also provided tax and accounting services at PwC where he worked in the State and Local Tax (SALT) group and the Tax Projects Delivery Group (TPDG) focusing on the R&D Tax Credit. Prior to joining RIG, he was managing federal and state projects at KPMG, LLP.
John Langreck, CPA – Director of R&D Tax Credit Services
Mr. Langreck has over 10 years of tax and accounting experience with a focus on federal and state tax credits and incentives. He is the firm’s Director of Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit Services and has particular expertise in the high tech, life science and traditional manufacturing and distribution industries. He has also successfully defended credit claims during numerous audits and exams.
Prior to joining Romo Incentives Group, Mr. Langreck worked as a member of the TPDG at PwC in San Jose. Mr. Langreck is a licensed CPA and earned his M.S. (taxation) at Golden Gate University and his B.S. (accounting) at Wright State University. He serves on the faculty at UC Davis and has been a board member of several non-profit organizations in the Sacramento area.
Michael Snead – Business Development Director
Mr. Snead is responsible for developing new business relationships and educating corporate executives and financial professionals on the benefits of various federal and state tax credit programs.
Prior to joining RIG, Mr. Snead worked as a consultant for emerging companies to raise capital, create business plans and develop risk management strategies. He is a faculty member of the University of Phoenix in Sacramento where he teaches finance. Mr. Snead has a M.B.A. from California State University at Northridge and a B.S. (economics) from UCLA.
Keith Brama – Manager
Mr. Brama has over 10 years of tax, accounting, and consulting experience. Mr. Brama’s EZ program experience includes project management, technical research as well as client representation before the California Franchise Tax Board. He has managed EZ Tax Credit projects for companies of all sizes in a variety of industries including agriculture, distribution, finance, manufacturing and professional service firms.
Mr. Brama is a graduate of California State University at Hayward where he received a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in finance. He previously worked at KPMG, LLP and and in the telecommunications and high-tech industries.
